Reclusive Hollywood celebrity Solange “Sunny” Green (Irina Maleeva) unexpectedly rescues a non-binary individual named Lio (Jesse Leigh). Together, they navigate the complexities of their new friendship. Through Lio, Sunny rediscovers her joy for living, and they team up to help underprivileged youth in the gritty streets of Los Angeles.

Sunny confronts societal stereotypes and battles her own inner demons while dealing with a criminal underworld, an Anita Ekberg impersonator, and betrayals from her close confidants. All the while, she tries to run a successful television show that offers choice peeks into her infamous closet, which is filled with significant items of cinematic history. She also sells and auctions off some of the pieces—such as rare jewelry, dresses, and legendary wardrobe garments to on air callers into the program, who are mysterious and colorful characters in their own right.

Throughout her journey, we see that Sunny’s world is filled with perceived dangers, some of which are real and others that are mere paranoid figments of her imagination.

In the end we learn what a tough old broad she Sunny is as she regularly saves the day celebrating her triumphs with a song.

Sunny's Closet - Lio

Jessie Leigh - as Lio - "I met Irina during my audition and we just hit it off from there. She's such a pleasure to work with, so sweet and just so giving as an actor. We first see Lio on the street just beaten down and at their worst and they're taken under the wing of Sunny and are invited to live with Irina and be her assistant.

Towards the end of the pilot, we see that Leo has become 'Sunnified' and has been given a total wardrobe change and has raided Sunny's closet as well as uplifted my characters spirits. So to see the character arc from beaten down to finally working for someone that they actually look up to, it was a lot of fun playing.”

Louie Ski Carr portrays Mak Diddy, a ruthless villain shaped by the harsh streets of downtown Los Angeles. Mak preys on the vulnerable, manipulating Lio, a desperate young man, and turning him into a pawn in his schemes.

Operating under a strict code, Mak fiercely retaliates against any perceived threats. When Sunny removes Lio from the streets, it impacts Mak's finances and ignites his desire for vengeance, viewing Sunny as the source of his troubles.

However, Mak soon discovers that Sunny is no easy target. Armed with determination and quick reflexes, she is ready to confront him. Tension builds as both sides prepare for a showdown that will test their strength.

Tay Tay

Mitch Hara - "In this outrageous production, I take on the role of Tay-Tay, the cunning nemesis determined to wreak havoc on the lead character, Sunny. My character revels in the chaos, pushing Sunny to her limits and driving her to the brink of madness. Competing for the spotlight under her own roof, I morphed into Anita Ekberg Sunny's arch-rival, who snatched away all her coveted roles from the legendary Federico Fellini.

I don the glamorous attire of Anita Ekberg, taunting Sunny with biting remarks like, 'You always believed you were superior to me, but the truth is, everyone knows Federico loved me the most.' This relentless teasing provokes Sunny's desperate attempts to eliminate me, escalating the tension and craziness between us.

As if that weren't enough, I've sinisterly embezzled all of Sunny's savings when she wasn't looking, leaving her in a precarious legal situation, and now the police are hot on her trail. The stakes couldn't be higher as our rivalry unravels in the most outrageous and entertaining ways."

Lola, brilliantly brought to life by DawnMarie Ferrara, serves as Sunny's devoted housekeeper and trusted confidante. With an affable personality, she unwittingly finds herself entangled in the whirlwind of Sunny's chaotic escapades. Beneath her warm exterior lies a trove of secrets connected to Sunny's ever-growing legal troubles, secrets that could turn the tide against Sunny. Yet, in a crafty twist, Sunny skillfully manipulates Lola's enigmatic past to keep her firmly under control, ensuring that the delicate balance of their relationship remains intact while Lola remains blissfully unaware of the full extent of the game being played.

Michele Brourman - Music Composer:
“I love Michele; she inspires me. We create beautiful music together using songs, famous oldies arranged in a new, personal for me way,” says Maleeva. When we needed a song for “Sunny’s Closet,” I immediately called Michele. I knew that she could compose a beautiful song, and Amanda McBroom would write the lyrics. That’s Sunny’s song, “Welcome to My Closet,” which I sing in this short movie.
